Need to be heard? Want a unique sound? The Harp Octave cuts through the mix by filling out the mid-range, reduces feedback and has a great raspy distortion to boot.
The Harp Octave is a great tool for the harp player who wants to have diverse sounds. It is a clean octave-up generator that adds a great effect for harp. The octave-up overtone that the pedal adds manifests itself in the mid-range with a rasp that brings out whatever distortion is going on with the amp. The end result is a sort of fuzzy/crunchy distortion that can be mild or intense, according to the settings chosen. This pedal is best when using the pucker, lip block, and tongue block techniques. If you've ever wanted your big amp to sound like a nasty little vintage Champ or Princeton, this is the pedal that'll do it. The effect will really cut through the mix and reduce feedback; you will get more volume out of your amp before feedback than ever before. The Harp Octave has a buffered input, true bypass, a BLEND control, and a VOLUME control. The BLEND control increases or decreases the level of the generated octave, and the VOLUME control allows you to have more control over your volume for solos and when playing into a PA. The battery is switched OFF when an external power supply is used. The LED is ON when the effect is in, and is OFF when the effect is in bypass. The "IN" jack serves as the ON/OFF switch, so the pedal cannot be accidentally turned ON and run your battery down.
The pedal can be powered with a 9V battery or a AD adapter. The DC adapter requirements are a regulated 9V DC with a minimum 100mA output and a 2.1mm x 5.5mm connector with a negative center. The battery is switched OFF when an external power adapter is used, and the "IN" jack acts as the pedal ON/OFF switch. Power adapters are sold separately. .

I have purchased 5 pedals from LWBC. The returns and customer service I needed were awesome. GREAT service after the purchase. Jason Spencer, Austin Texas
I think I see it’s purpose on a different amp with different intents. I can’t run my stick mic through it because the IMP adapter is useless on these pedals but even with my bullet mic it just seems to add hiss. It also is at odds with my Clean Cat pedal, hey I AM the Thom Cat and play clean Seydels, but it seems with my Marshal amp and all the FX is has this may be one I pass soon to a young and up and coming young reed bender. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a cool pedal, just not one that is useful to ME, but might really work for somebody who needs help getting that sound.
