Another very poplar distortion pedal, this pedal has the tube-like crunchy overdrive and a bass boost that is as fat as the Pillsbury Doughboy on a King Biscuit binge.
The Harp Break pedal provides clipping distortion with a full range of clean to hard grit. As LEDs begin to conduct, they produce a soft clipping distortion that is very similar to vacuum tube distortion. The soft clip is visibly evident by the dim lighting of the LED on the face of the pedal, and as the DRIVE is increased the LED clips harder and begins to glow brighter: the brighter the LED, the harder the clip. The tone is very close to vacuum tube distortion but without the overtones produced by tubes. The tone is much better than typical solid state distortion created by transistors, but that is not all. The Harp Break features a 20dB BASS BOOST feature to add a fat bottom end to your tone. This pedal is a great tool to dirty up an otherwise clean amp and create distortion when going into a PA. The pedal can be powered with a 9V battery or a DC adapter. The DC adapter requirements are a regulated 9V DC with a minimum 100mA output and a 2.1mm x 5.5mm connector with a negative center. The battery is switched OFF when an external power adapter is used, and the "IN" jack acts as the pedal ON/OFF switch. Power adapters are sold separately.

It was great. The internacional shipment to Machali, Chile was very well. It takes a 45 days more or less. Finally the pedal is awesome. I’m still playing with it. Thanks a lot.
I started using it with a reissue 59 Fender bassman and a vintage bullet mic, I have a few nice vintage bullet mics. The new bullet mics are no better than a vocal mic for that vintage distortion, The combination with the Harp Break was like that holy grail sound I've been searching for, nice old gritty distortion for those old blues songs, also works great through a PA, though I had some feedback issues through the monitors. Now I can't go without. When I want a cleaner sound I through my SM58 vocal mic.
I have been in search of a certain tone just like many harp players. I've bought amps, mics, and various pedals. My recommendation for others is to start with either the Harp Break or the Harp Tone with the Harp Shield. I tried some other pedals but they seemed to drive the highs and mids and created a feedback monster. If I had started with these two pedals I could have saved myself a lot of money.

Well, I received my 3 Pedals and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. The Lone Wolf team answered all my questions about my current rig and what I was looking to achieve. They recommended for my situation a “Mojo Pad Deluxe” to start the chain from my stock Fender Blues Junior then added a “Harp Break” for some dirtier crunch options. Finally, the amazingly responsive EQ the “Harp Tone+” which gives you up to 20db on Bass & Treble” to augment your sound without wrestling with the amps super sensitive tone controls! These units have totally solved my problem and even cooler, they work superbly with my computer interface and online session recording work. The pedals are beautifully constructed and first class and built to be road worthy. I’m so psyched I’m going to now or a “little Red” DI and their power supply and custom Pedalboard.
