It has been a while since I updated the NEWS page but here is the latest news.
The Harp V2 Delay is a new product that offers more presence in the effect portion of the signal, it has a comparable tonal response
to the Dan Echo but also has the fatness that proper mic termination and coupling caps provide and of course, the Harp Delay
remains the same great pedal that it is and will continue to be my flagship pedal..
The Harp Octave release has gone well with favorable comments from customers.
The Harp Tone+, I have been working with a couple customers on reviews with the HT+ with different amps and a video is on the way.
The web page has been updated with reviews on using the HT+ with a Pevey SS amp and the Blues Jr.
My tube distortion pedal, Harp Attack is now in the hands of two field testers so we continue to make slow but steady progress. A
release date will be determined after all testing is done.
The forum is picking up steam with new members and we are adding harp amp schematics to the web site as a result.
With positive feedback from my friends testing the new Harp Octave I am looking forward to offering it for sale on Nov 1st and
I will soon be posting reviews and hopefully mp3 samples.
For guitar players who want a vintage delay/echo sound I now offer a guitar version of the Harp Delay by special order, just email me.
Here is an exert from a review, "It's not hard to elicit the overtone on the "Juke" riff on the original recording and beyond that,
the Octave sound at lower settings really evokes the "old amp" tone somehow, heightens whatever old-school rasp & distortion
& breakup are happening, at least with the H410. The sound of a sustained four- or five-hole draw chord on a 7-limit JI harp
that's in tune is UNBELIEVABLE--not that it can be used easily in a song, but for an opening or ending cadenza, it absolutely
expands to fill the room. I've never heard a sound like it, especially up on a D harp."
Feedback on the Tone+ continues to be positive with customers
reporting that the added bass that the pedal provides really fattens up their tone. The pedal is also providing good results with nonmodified
guitar amps enabling users to get a boutiqe harp amp sound from them; except for the Fender Blues Jr that has issues all its own.
Customers using the pedals for the first time often want to know right away where to put them, i.e. Tone+ before or after a Harp Comander.
I recommend that when trying out a new effect to always get familure with the effect first by itself before using it in-line with other effects.
The more you know about the pedal; its gain, tone and its effect, the more you will be able to get out of it. The main thing to remember is that all
Lone Wolf Blues Co pedals are designed for a mic level input and may not function best behind a device that adds gain; but, the end
result of where you place it is totally a personal preferance.
I am off now to work on the new tube distortion pedal Harp Break or Harp Crunch or whatever I will call it, LOL.
I now have the new TONE+ pedals available at the company store and the Harp Octave will follow on Novmber 1st. I want to offer to anyone
who purchased the Tone+ without the volume control an opportunity to exchange the unit for one with the volume control, just return it
for a free exchange and no shipping charge. The Tone+ has had very good reviews thus far and I will be posting some on the web site
soon along with audio samples and a video.
The Harp Octave is now ready but due to the pending hurricane and a turnaround scheduled at
work in September I will not be able to have a stock to offer until Nov 1st, this pedal will be another hit.
I have 10 of the new TONE+ pedals available for the introductory price of $95.00.

With the 3rd prototype we have met our goal and expanded the capabilities of the pedal to include a treble control. The pedal is essentially a 2 band equalizer with a range of 20db in gain to a reduction of 20db in level. With the controls in the 12 o'clock position your tone and level are unchanged and from this point you can increase or decrease your bass and treble frequencies. The pedal has a true bypass and operates with a 9v battery or a 9v negative center ac adapter, the same adapter that the Harp Delay uses. This pedal is ideal for increasing bass frequencies in you tone, it is ideal for amps with no tone control, increasing volume for solo's and for giving the harper more control over his tone when playing into a PA. The pedal has a high impedance input and output, indicator LED and on/off power on the input jack. I will have a limited amout offered at a discounted introductory price as soon as they are built.

There was a hold up in the 6L6SE project because of a parts supplier, I have canceled that order and reordered with
another supplier and expect to have the circuit board built within the week.
The layout design has been added to the 6L6SE Project CIRCUITRY page and comming soon will be the chassis prep and wireing steps. You can visit our forum to discuss the project.
New links have been added to our Customers' Links page, please take time to check
them out. If you would like to discuss the 6L6SE project amp just visit our forum and if you are

Anyone interested in purchasing a Harpgear amp from Brian Purdy can now purchase a Lone Wolf Blues Co Harp
Delay along with the amp and save on the shipping costs of ordering seperately. Brian has been gracious enough to demo our Harp Delay along
with his amps so if you can catch up with him in his travels you can see and hear the famed Harpgear amps AND the
LWBC Harp Delay. See Brian's amps at www.harpgear.com
The first page on the 6L6SE project is up with the schematic and circuit considerations that went into the design,
there will be more to come in the following weeks.
I have decided to continue in the developement of the Harp Bass pedal but due to time restraints it will not be ready
as soon previously promised. I now expect to have a new prototype ready for SPAH where attendees can try it out.
There is a new page that is linked from the Harp Delay page that lists links supplied by customers who are using the Harp Delay, please check them out and help support the people who are keeeping the blues alive.
I now have our Lone Wolf Blues Company Store open for business. Located on the Delay page you will now find two
buttons, one will take you to our new store where you can place an order for the Harp Delay, power supply, logo shirt
or order free stickers. The second button will lead you to a page with info for ordering by phone for those who do not
wish to order over the internet. Please understand that I work a full time job besides this and you may have to leave a
message but rest assured that I will return your call.
Bass Pedal update - I have decided to go with a 9v version and add a tone control for added functionality. New prototype
boards are ordered and I hope to have some up on the site soon.
The new Harp Delay enclosures have arrived with SCREEN PRINTED GRAPHICS, a definite improvement over the decals previously used. Plus we are now installing reverse polarity protection diodes to prevent damage if a power supply with a positive center is inadvertently used. There is also news on the Harp Bass pedal, check out the page for details.
Ryan Hartt has just created us a great how to on the use and settings of the Lone Wolf Harp Delay. The video is professionally done and is a great example of the Harp Delay, it's uses and not to mention Ryan's talent. Check it out on the Harp Delay page.
Hello blues harp dudes and dudettes, I want to announce that the Harp Delay now has reverse polarity protection. This means that if a power supply with the wrong polarity is plugged in it will not hurt your Harp Delay. In the event that I receive any Harp Delays for repair I will upgrade the unit free and if anyone wants theirs upgraded and is willing to cover the cost of shipping I will also upgrade theirs for no charge. I have just received 4 prototype boards and will be building 4 Harp Bass pedals and sending them to a few friends for further testing and evaluation, stay tuned.
First I want to wish a Happy New Year to all and I hope yours is filled with health, wealth and lots of great blues music. You may have already noticed that the forum is now run by 3 great individuals who each add their own perspective and qualities to an informative, open and friendly forum on harp amps and all things blues. I also want to say that progress on my next pedal, the HARP BASS a bass enhancing pedal is moving along with a prototype done and is being tested. The prototype is very promising and exceeded my expectations. I hope to have it in production by spring.
A story of good news, bad news; we are experiencing growing pains and with that we have been so busy keeping up with
orders as well as working my real job that we are not where we want to be organization wise with such things as accepting
credit card orders directly and developing new pedals. I am sure that we will be able to reach these goals in due time.
Lone Wolf Blues Company has joined SPAH and will be present at the upcoming 2008 SPAH convention where we plan to
have our products on display for sampling and purchase along with Brian Purdy of Harpgear.
Ian Collard and his band Collard Greens and Gravy have a new cd out
DEVIL IN THE WOODPILE
and it is another great effort by Ian. When listening to the cuts you can just see the images; old cypress shack with moss
hanging from the oak tree, a prison chain gang, someone sitting on a front porch playing blues on a hot summer afternoon, dirt roads and where ever
else your imagination cares to take you. You hear SBII and Sonny Terry licks in full bore compressed amplified tone that set the
home base and then there will be the solo gradually building to a feverish pitch and then all of a sudden a long mournful wail will
bring you back home and all of this is backed by a marching driving rythm that really gets you going. Give this one a try, it is
some great blues all done the Collard Greens and Gravy way.
We have launched a new website with a new name to better reflect the direction the we are going to which will include
new effect pedal designs designed specifically for harp with new and innovative circuitry, tube amp services including
repair and harp voiced conversions and free amp projects that will include step by step instruction, schematics, cab design
and more.
Our new name LONE WOLF BLUES COMPANY LLC will replace Lone Wolf Harp Amps and you will need to update your
bookmarks. I hope that our forum will continue to develop and grow with ideas and development of the free projects that
will be offered and to come out with new original harp amp designs.
I want to says thank you to those who are now participating
in the forum and invite all to join in. I have had problems with spammers and since and I am new at web site building and
maintenance but I will continue to try and keep them at bay.
There has been one more small price increase on the Harp Delay but this is the last one planned. I realize that the Harp Delay
is not just a brand new product itself but that it is the first effect pedal ever marketed for harp players and it takes somewhat of
a leap of faith to buy a new and unknown product and this is why it has been offered at what I believe is rock bottom pricing.
The Harp Delay is still and will continue to be offered at a very good price and rest assure that I have not skimped on the
quality of the components and I will always stand by the exceptional warrantee offered.
I will update this page occasionally as news develops and invite all to email me with any questions and or suggestions.
